Hi loyal readers.
I want to thank you for the ongoing support and love. I’ve been rather busy but I still get so many beautiful and touching letters and comments coming in daily. You have inspired me to give back to the nursing community. I’ve been working on a new book which I’ll be publishing for you all to download for free! The book is a more detailed account of how I turned my career around after suffering nursing burn out. It will also contain advice and tips designed to help you decide what’s the right move for you.
Some of you may be interested in quitting nursing altogether, others might be interested in simply curing their burn out or getting support for it. I know nurses who didn’t quite want to quit nursing but they wanted to find a field within nursing that they’d enjoy more. I know nurses who took their nursing skills and combined it with other skills like yoga, reiki or psychology.
There are many creative nurse entrepreneurs out there. One of them being Annette Tersigni, who combined the science of nursing with the wisdom of yoga and created the massive movement called “YogaNursing” to ease nursing burn out and help nurses integrate yoga into their nursing careers. Nurses who join her courses are finding new ways to direct their energy into a healthier space and even find themselves in new career paths as holistic care nurses. You can also become part of a wonderful community of nurses who support and encourage each other to make a change in their careers or health.
Whatever it is you want to do, chances are you found this site because you’re feeling a little more than stressed out with your current position in nursing. The book will hopefully be inspiring enough to help you find renewed energy and direction.
